Please do not leave checks/cash for the cleaners. We will send you an invoice at the end of each month. Please mail us a check upon receipt of your invoice.

We do not keep keys for liability reasons. If you would like to hide a key somewhere for your cleaner please let her and us know where the key will be hidden. The cleaner will lock your door and put the key back in the hiding place when she leaves.

We ask that you please supply all products (cleaning solutions) and tools (vacuum, mop, bucket, etc...) needed to clean your home. Please use our recommended list of cleaning products/tools. This allows for a greater consistency in cleaning for all of our customers. We have attached our list of recommended cleaning products/tools. Our cleaners will leave you a note if they notice you are running low on a product/supply.

Please contact us at least 24 hrs. prior to a cancellation. We charge a $25 Lock-Out Fee if we arrive at your home and cannot get in.

We ask that you please clean up your animal's urine and feces. This is not part of our service.

If we damage or break something we will pay to repair or replace the item up to a $500 limit. Anything over $500 will need to be covered by your homeowner's policy.

Our cleaners provide their own food while they work. However, please allow them to help themselves to water if they are thirsty.

Tipping your cleaner is not expected or customary. However, feel free if you think they have done an extra special job.

Please do not leave notes with instructions for your cleaner. They may speak and understand English, but not be able to read a note in English. Please communicate all instructions to us directly via the phone or e-mail and we will communicate the instructions to your cleaner. This will avoid any possible miscommunication.

The hiring of HouseWorks cleaners from our company either while they are working with us or within a year after they leave the company is strictly prohibited. We make a substantial investment finding, interviewing and training our cleaners. A finder's fee equivalent to 3 months of service will be assessed if current or former HouseWorks cleaners are hired.
